How it works
Problems are reported
Members, institutions and communities report national, industrial, social and administrative problems with evidence.
Problems are validated and prioritised
Coordinators review each problem and set priorities using a transparent, documented assessment.
Expert teams are formed
Members with the right expertise and availability are invited into multidisciplinary working groups.
Solutions are developed
Working groups analyse evidence and prepare structured, reviewed technical proposals.
Institutions decide
Approved proposals are submitted to the responsible institutions, whose decisions are recorded.
Results are verified
Accepted initiatives are monitored and their outcomes independently verified.
Our principles
- Professional expertise is our most important resource.
- Recommendations are evidence-based and independently reviewed.
- Institutions keep their statutory authority; NIO recommends.
- Progress is measured by verified outcomes, not activity.
- Confidentiality and professional integrity come first.
